We have many field trips scheduled throughout the school year. Some are on-site which requires no transportation while there are some that are at different locations requiring parent volunteers to drive to and from. Without the parent volunteers, we would not be able to have so many field trips for the children.

In order to make the field trips successful and safe we have strict guidelines we have to follow: 

•         Car seats for every child under 6 years old and 60 pounds

•         Signed permission slips and specified payment

•         Copies of drivers license and current insurance to be kept on file in the office (DRIVERS ONLY)

Safety is very important especially when we are off-site. In order to ensure everyone’s safety siblings are not invited on field trips UNLESS they are in a child backpack. Drivers are usually asked to supervise children other than their own and we want to make sure there are as little distractions as possible.
